C. Sensitive Personal Data
Personal data is classified as sensitive when it involves an individual more closely performed details, or when its misuse can potentially lead to discrimination or pose a risk of discrimination. Specifically, OHC considers information that could reveal potentially sensitive issues, racial or ethnic origin; current situation and future of health; genetic information; religious, philosophical and moral beliefs; union membership; political affiliations; and sexual preferences. During your stay at our hotel, and will provide you with all the information regarding your health or any disability, this data will only be used to better serve you and to meet your specific needs.
D. Use and Purpose of Personal Data
Events when the personal data legally required for OHC to provide a service:
OHC uses the personal information provided by you in order to perform or provide the services required, or as part of a program for which you registered. These events include making reservations, purchasing vacation packages, becoming a member of the OHC loyalty programs, attending events or social gatherings, or purchasing goods and / or tour and travel-related services. OHC may use the personal data that you provide us to offer you a better service and, where appropriate, identify your preferences during your stay, in order to make it more pleasant. Events when personal data is not required for OHC to provide a service: OHC may also use your information to offer you promotions, tourism and consumer products, special services, newsletters, surveys, sweepstakes and contests.
E. Limitations on the use or disclosure of personal data
At any time you can request that your personal information not be used for purposes other than those purposes that are legally required for OHC to offer you a service. You must submit this request in writing to OHC ‘Department of Personal Data at the following address: Av. Rafael E. Melgar No. 457 south between calle 5 and 7 Sur, Col. Centro, CP 77600, Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Written requests will be delivered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Any of these requests must include at least the following elements: (i) Name of the owner of the personal data; (Ii) An email address in a confirmation message can be sent; (Iii) The documents that prove your identity or that demonstrate your legal representation for the owner; (Iv) A clear and concise description of the personal data in question and the action requested; (V) Any other element or document that facilitates the request or the location of your personal data. If the request does not meet any of these requirements, the Department of Personal Data may respond within 5 days of your request and ask you to provide the required information or documents. In this case, you will have 10 days to submit the necessary information or documents.
After OHC receives a request with all the necessary items included, it will make a determination and respond within 20 days. When OHC confirms that a requested change will be made to the use of personal data, that change will take effect 15 days after OHC emails a confirmation that the change occurs. For

F. The exercise of the rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition
You are able to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the information that you have provided to OHC, as established by the Federal Law of Mexico, on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals. You can do this by submitting the request to OHC, following the steps described in section E above. OHC will respond as stated above.
G. Control and Security of Personal Data
OHC is committed to taking the necessary precautions to protect the data it has collected, using security technologies and procedures to restrict the access, use or disclosure of personal data without consent. For example, the personal data you provide will be stored on servers in secure data centers with restricted access. For online transactions, OHC also uses security technologies to protect data that is transmitted electronically, such as the use of a secure server on the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). However, no security system or data transmission devices through which OHC does not retain absolute control or is dependent on the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
